How verification works

Rosta uses a four-tier verification system. Each tier represents a different level of independently confirmed information about an athlete.

Tier Name What's confirmed How
1 Basic Email address · Profile completeness Automated email verification on registration
2 Community Identity · Sport · Known to community member Nomination submitted by verified coach, parent, or community member
3 Document Club or federation affiliation · Footage · Rosta Score 70+ Manual review of submitted club letter or federation document by Rosta team
4 Professional National-level or semi-professional status · Competition history Cross-check against national federation records + document review
Agent verification methodology

Every agent on the Rosta directory has gone through the following process. Unverified agents cannot contact athletes through the platform.

01
Application submitted

Agent submits a 4-step application including personal details, FIFA licence or NFF registration number, sports covered, and identity document. All fields are required.

02
Automated FIFA cross-check

The submitted licence number is automatically cross-referenced against our database of approximately 11,000 FIFA-registered agents, compiled from publicly available FIFA data. NFF registration is cross-checked against NFF records.

03
Manual identity review

The Rosta team manually reviews the submitted identity document against the application details. Applications are approved, queried, or rejected within 5 business days.

04
Ongoing community monitoring

Any verified agent can be reported by athletes or community members. Reports are investigated. Confirmed fraudulent agents are revoked and added to the public blacklist. Verification is not permanent — it is maintained through conduct.
